Another exciting Nando's was this one in Edinburgh designed by STAC Architecture. When walking into the restaurant you feel transformed as if into a marketplace in South America or a settlement in South Africa. Corrugated tin roofs sit atop the booth tables, hystool steel reinforcing makes up the bulkhead over the server and rusted panels adorn the walls.
The decorative lighting within the restaurant is a mash of reclaimed timber, festoon string lights and colourful hand painted ceramic pots. All of the products and materials directly correlate with the interior and would not look out of place if in any country in the southern tropics.
